Networks and privacy
Supported networks, external service boundaries, local storage, and deployment analytics.
Supported networks
The current application supports these mainnets:
- Ethereum
- Polygon
- Arbitrum One
- Optimism
- Base
- Gnosis Chain
- BNB Smart Chain
- Avalanche C-Chain
These testnets are available after enabling testnet visibility:
- Sepolia
- Base Sepolia
Mainnet auto-detection checks supported mainnets. For testnets, select the network before scanning or loading transactions.
Updated from the source PDFs
The current UI does not accept an arbitrary custom RPC endpoint. Network support is limited to the configured chain registry and its fallback RPC URLs.
Simulation support
External GoPlus simulation is available only for:
- Ethereum
- BNB Smart Chain
- Base
Decoding, hash recomputation, risk scoring, and local threat checks do not require simulation.
Local data
Safe configuration snapshots are stored in browser IndexedDB and are keyed by chain and Safe address. Transaction Inspector also stores the user's optional-feature toggle preferences in browser local storage.
Clearing browser data removes these local snapshots and preferences. They are not synchronized between browsers or devices.
External data flows
Safe queue imports, GoPlus simulation, online selector resolution, contact submissions, RPC reads, and optionally configured analytics involve network requests. See Security and trust model for the exact boundary of each feature.
The deployment can enable Microsoft Clarity with an environment variable. When enabled, analytics events may include feature usage and small operational labels; private keys and seed phrases are never requested by the application.
